Baking is a passion of mine. For me it’s me a real joy. It brings back so many childhood memories. My mother was a great bread maker and my grandmothers and great grandmother were bakers. Some of my dearest childhood memories of are baked goods. There were wonderful tarts, cinnamon rolls, breads, cookies and pies.

So this past year when I had the opportunity to write a new cookbook, I was excited to make it about baking. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyday baking with Chef Brad is a unique book, in that it is two books in one. It has fabulous whole grain recipes, that rival their white flour counterparts, and truly exceptional gluten free ones. Both are huge today, and both are needed in most homes. If not directly in our own homes, then in the homes of someone close to us with that dietary need.

Many gluten free options available are unhealthy and filled with sugar and processed high starch foods. My goal was to create gluten free foods that were not only whole grain but also tasted great. After considerable trial and error, this book does just that. Whole grain gluten free baked goods, that actually taste great.

So this cookbook is two books in one. For every whole grain recipe, there is a gluten free version.

The best part of the book is that for most of the recipes, especially the hard ones there are QR codes at the bottom of each page. Simply scan the code and a video comes up with me teaching you how to create the recipe. It’s like I am right there in your kitchen cooking along with you. I love that feature and I am sure you will also.

This cookbook also features my collection of Polish Stoneware. I have been collecting for over 20 years, and have always had a vision of just how cool it would look in a cookbook. It exceeded my expectations. And my wife took all the photos for the book. She is amazing, and it is so much fun to see her work printed next to my recipes.

Cookbooks are a labor of love, and I would love to share this book with the world. I want everyone to know that whole grain baking is not only good for you, but it can taste great.
